Slaves and Hidden Two animated documentaries by Hanna Heilborn and David Aronowitsch

Slaves tells the life of Abuk and Machiek in their own voices. They were kidnapped by the government-sponsored militia in Sudan as small children and forced to live as slaves. Their parents were killed.  They were later liberated by CEAWC (Committee for the Eradication of Abduction of Women and Children) in Sudan headed by James Aguer.

Hidden tells the story of Giancarlo, from Peru, living in hiding in Sweden. He and his family has no permit to stay and they try to keep away from the police. Giancarlo describes how it is to be constantly afraid to be discovered. Hidden was the first ever CGI-animated documentary film.

Both films have been awarded many international awards.
