Sharaf - an animated documentary by David Aronowitsch och Hanna Heilborn

  - The boat was like a little fly in the sea, in two-meter high waves. We just drifted without any food or water. Sharaf,17, is one of thousands of boat-refugees who have arrived to Gran Canaria the last years. They cross the ocean in small boat. Sharaf was lucky, he survived, many people have died in the Atlantic Ocean trying to get into the EU. Sharaf - an animated documentary is produced during 2010 and will be finished in 2011. It is the third part in the series of animated documentaries about children and young people in difficult situations by David Aronowitsch and Hanna Heilborn.

Arts in Correction A feature documentary

The Black Power Mixtape

The Black Power Mixtape is compilation feature documentary film that displays the story of the Afro-American community 67-76, the people, the society and the style that fueled a change. Told with sparkling, beautiful and deep footage, lost in the archives in Sweden for 30 years.

“-Racism is a much more clandestine, much more hidden kind of phenomenon, but at the same time it's perhaps far more terrible than it's ever been. Racism, in the first place, is a weapon used by the wealthy to increase the profits they bring in by paying Black workers less for their work.
To understand how any society functions you must understand the relationship between the men and the women.
Well of course there's been a great deal of progress. We don't have laws that segregate black people within the society any longer.”

A New Animated Documentary Feature by Hanna Heilborn and David Aronowitsch

Atelier Dinand - a film about the perfume-bottle designer Pierre Dinand.

- I want a bottle that feels like if you're on drugs.
- But please Mr Laurent, I am not taking drugs..?
- Just push very hard on your eyes like this and it will feel like being on LSD!

Pierre Dinand laughes at the memory of how he made the first Opium bottle for Yves Saint Laurent.
Their co-operation was a normal result since Pierre came up with the idea and designed the well-known YSL-logo.

Since that day Pierre Dinand has designed over 500 perfume bottles for all the well-known
fashion houses along the world; Pierre Cardin, Calvin Klein, Paul Smith, Madame Rochas, to mention some.

This is a story about some of these bottles and about a man who loves the
look, feeling and shape of glass more than anything else.

I LIKE IT LIKE IT WAS

"I like it like it is
and I like it like it was
but I'm not so sure any more
any any more..."
from Bad Bad Boys by Midi, Maxi & Efti.
